Zunie Nguyen

Zunie Nguyen is the Founder & CEO of Yogi CPA, a startup focused on financial independence services for high-income earners and entrepreneurs. Zunie recently won the CPA.com Innovative Practitioner of the year 2021 award for building a fully remote consulting firm providing high-value services during the pandemic. Founded in March 2020, Zunie & her startup has helped small businesses and entrepreneurs obtain over $9M in SBA Loans in addition to guiding clients through the process of getting PPP loans forgiven. Yogi CPA startup is currently enrolled in the Entrepreneurs Organization's Accelerator program.

Zunie came from Vietnam at the age of 18 to attend college at the University of Texas at Austin, majoring in Accounting and Psychology. Zunie began her early career at Deloitte and EY external audits and advisory consulting, serving a variety of clients and industries in Texas, California and the Midwest. With a passion for client service and automation, Zunie went on to establish her career as a solo-entrepreneur.

In her free time, Zunie enjoys meditation, yoga, golfing and attending live music events. She is certified as a yoga teacher after 200-hour yoga teacher training. Zunie is proud of her Vietnamese heritage & has a mission to bridge the cultural gap for Asians, Asian women & international students. She is actively involved in the Vietnamese community in Orange County, California and Vietnamese professionals network.
