AG2305. Welcome Remarks | Institutional Investing in US Farmland

Over the last several decades institutional investors have been attracted to the US Farmland Sector. Pension funds, endowments, foundations, family offices, insurance companies and other large-scale investors have found the sector to be ripe for investment providing stability and attractive fundamentals. As tracked by the National Council of Real Estate Investment Fiduciaries (NCREIF) Farmland Index, institutional investment in prime US farmland has grown from nearly zero to over $15 billion.
