COR2318. Construction Legislative Update

This session will provide an inside look at Congress, the White House, and the regulatory agencies, and will analyze how decisions made in Washington, D.C. impact the rest of the country. This session will look at the construction policy agenda in Congress and the Biden Administration, and discuss how the latest proposals, regulations, and laws on taxes, infrastructure, labor, environmental regulation, and more will impact the industry in 2023 and beyond.

Learning Objectives:

  • Identify and take an inside look at Washington, D.C., and what the spending decisions, tax debate, and infrastructure proposals mean to companies competing to be profitable in the construction industry
  • Recognize the construction policy agenda in Congress and the Biden Administration and how actions in Washington will impact the industry in 2023 and beyond.
  • Identify the impact of fiscal and regulatory policies on construction employers
