COR2429. Succession Planning for the Construction Industry

This session will provide attendees with a comprehensive overview on various issues, initiatives, and solutions that encompass management succession and ownership transfer. The session will explore a comprehensive approach that will teach the attendees ways to plan properly, identify techniques, and suggest approaches to accomplish goals and objectives pertaining to ownership transfer and management succession matters in a construction environment. Session topics include obstacles to continuity planning, how to define goals and objectives, how to develop a plan and make it work, valuation techniques for contractors, techniques and issues that relate to ownership transfers and management succession, liquidity strategies, and continuity planning for the unforeseen.
