Despite the pandemic related challenges faced during the last year and a half, credit unions continue to seek opportunities to supplement organic growth. Credit union to credit union mergers have continued at a steady pace, while the size of banks acquired by credit unions is increasing. Credit unions are also strategically acquiring other types of companies which support their member service delivery expansion.
