Big firms are getting bigger, M&A activity is reducing the number of medium sized firms, more people are hanging out their own shingle to run a firm the way they see fit. This will create an hourglass shaped profession with a wide top of big firms, a thin middle of midsized firms, and a large swath of local specialized firms. How will you find the right home for you over the course of your career?

We will talk about the impact this shape of the profession will have on individual careers. And as the profession continues to change during your career, what you can be on the lookout for so your career continues to be successful within the ever changing profession. In addition, you will be able to apply this knowledge to those you manage so you can "walk in their shoes" by understanding the landscape your team exists in.
