FIN2203P. Strategies to Mitigate Challenges in ERP and Complex Systems Projects
If you're in some way responsible for a transformational ERP or other complex systems project, this session will give insights to you that can be used to increase your organization's likelihood of success. The session will explore examples of challenges that arise among technical, governance and human capital elements of these projects, highlighting the risks that they bring. A discussion of the strategies to mitigate these challenges will follow. The goal would be for participants to walk away from the virtual session with broad actionable activities that can be added to their planned projects - whether pending, or in-process. Our speaker, Bob Green, CPA.CITP, CGMA, leads an independent, product-agnostic team that have collectively played most roles in these types of projects from all sides (client, vendor, advisor) - making him qualified to provide experience-generated examples and insights to help participants avoid mistakes and consider factors that are missed by many organizations.
Learning Objectives:
- Recognize common, strategically critical challenges impacting ERP or otherwise complex systems projects
