OIL2202. Legislative and Regulatory Impact on the O&G Industry Today

This session will cover the local, national and global landscape in oil and gas production, and specifically federal lands oil and gas production.  Impacts of the Inflation Reduction Act, Department of Interior regulations, and other federal oversight on federal lands production and investment.

Learning Objectives:

• Identify unique differences between regulatory impacts on oil and gas operations on federal lands vs private lands
• Assess current energy demand vs. supply and evaluate regulatory impacts in light of global economic factors
