As a Deputy Associate Director in the Federal Reserve System, Ms. Williams oversees the Federal Reserve’s strategic policy, supervisory guidance, and regulatory initiatives related to the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), anti-money laundering (AML), and Office of Foreign Assets Control. Ms. Williams previously served as the Manager of the BSA/AML Section and joined the Federal Reserve in 2005 after spending 15 years at the FDIC and the Department of the Treasury in various supervisory and examination positions. Ms. Williams has a master’s degree in financial management from the University of Maryland and a bachelor’s degree in international business from King’s College.
