Catherine Ide is a Managing Director in the PwC National Quality Office, focused on building trust in the quality of corporate reporting through shaping and advocating strategic and technological change in the reporting ecosystem.

She brings deep expertise in ESG matters and experience engaging with capital markets stakeholders to promote innovative solutions to market challenges, which is crucial in the evolving ESG reporting landscape.

Previously, Ide was the Vice President of Professional Practice at the Center for Audit Quality (CAQ). In that role, she played a pivotal role in leading the CAQ's regulatory and public policy initiatives and activities, specifically on shaping how the public company auditing profession would respond to evolving market forces related to ESG reporting. While at the CAQ, Catherine led a multi-disciplinary team and directed the organization's strategic initiatives targeting the relevancy, value and importance of the public company auditing profession and drove consensus among the CAQ's public accounting firm members.

Ide is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in Virginia, and she holds a BS in Accounting with Special Attainments in Commerce from Washington and Lee University.
