Katie is a Deputy State Auditor with the North Carolina Office of the State Auditor. Katie has been responsible for overseeing the audit of the State of North Carolina's financial statements and the Single Audit for the State of North Carolina. She also works with the Performance and Investigative divisions within the office. Katie has worked with the NC Office of the State Auditor for 17+ years. The majority of this time has been spent in the financial audit division.  Katie has organized training opportunities for CPA firms auditing local units of government in the state of NC. Katie has been a CPA for over 17 years, and received the AICPA Advanced Single Audit certification in 2018. Katie lives in Raleigh, NC with her husband Craig and miniature schnauzer, JB.
