Melanie Lauridsen is a senior manager of the tax advocacy & policy division of the AICPA in Washington, DC. She is the current staff liaison for the IRS Advocacy & Relations Committee and has recently worked on the the Tax Legislation Task Force and the Tax Reform Task Force. She has previously staffed the Tax Practice Responsibilities Committee, the Exempt Organization Technical Resource Panel, the Tax Methods & Periods Technical Resource Panel and the Tax Checklist Task Force.
