With over 10 years of experience in the financial services industry, Corey Cunningham currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer at Energy Capital Credit Union. He oversees the Accounting, IT, and Compliance Departments for the Credit Union. Corey and the team at ECCU enjoy finding new ways to make existing processes more efficient, and since joining Energy Capital Credit Union in February of 2020 his teams have worked on such projects as streamlining accounting reconciliations and month-end closing, automating financial reporting with a dashboard solution, and implementing an Enterprise Risk Management program for the organization.

Cunningham holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from the University of Houston Clear Lake. Prior to his current role, Corey has worked in the roles of Card Services Specialist, Financial Analyst, Sr. Financial Analyst, Accounting Manager, and Controller within the industry. Cunningham has also earned the Certified Credit Union Investments Professional (CCUIP) designation from CUNA in addition to attending a number of other Credit Union trainings and conferences.
