Mai-Anh Tran was appointed as the Ford Foundation's Chief Financial Officer in October 2018. She previously served as the Director of Financial Planning and Budgeting.
Prior to joining Ford in 2010, Mai-Anh worked in mergers and acquisitions and private equity, specializing in media and technology. She also served as Director of Financial Programs at the Alliance for Downtown New York, where she managed a loan and grant portfolio program to help small businesses in Lower Manhattan recover following 9/11.
§Mai-Anh serves on the Boards of the Council on Foundations, The Investment Fund for Foundations and Proteus Fund, a social justice not-for-profit, and as a mentor for the 92nd Y Women in Power fellowship program. She holds a bachelor's degree in economics and management information systems from New York University, an MBA with a concentration in financial engineering from Yale and is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
