Pamela Oberski
As Dow's North America Finance Director, Pam is responsible for analyzing and delivering financial results and representing finance matters for the geography, as well as partnering with the businesses to achieve strategic and financial objectives. She also serves as the Finance leader for Aviation. Additional responsibilities include: member of the global Finance Leadership Team, the North America Leadership Team, and the North America Commercial Leadership Team.
Pam joined Dow in 1995. Throughout her career she has held a number of roles in the Controllers function including Financial Accounting, Corporate Consolidations, Cost Accounting, and Insurance Accounting. Most recently, Pamela served as Corporate Director of External Reporting, Corporate Reporting and M&A and Special Transactions where she was responsible for Dow's financial filings with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and internal Dow management reporting. She has represented Controllers in a number of significant transactions including the formation of MEGlobal, the acquisition of Rohm and Haas, the divestiture of the chlorine value chain, the ownership restructure of Dow Corning, the merger of Dow and DuPont and the spin-off of Dow from DowDuPont. Pam has also been actively engaged in U.S. GAAP and IAS (International Accounting Standards) research; ESG (Environment, Social, Governance) reporting and education; and participates in the Company's WIN, GAAN and GLAD employee resource groups.
Pam received a BBA in Accounting from Saginaw Valley State University and an MBA in Finance from The University of Michigan.
