Joe is a partner in PricewaterhouseCoopers’ National Office. He currently leads PwC’s SEC Services review team supporting clients operating in the Energy, Utilities and Mining (EU&M) sectors. In this capacity he is responsible for reviewing a portfolio of audit client’s periodic SEC filings and assisting with SEC related financial reporting matters.

Prior to his role in the National Office, Joe led PwC’s US Energy Sector Deals Practice. He primarily served clients in the EU&M sectors and focused on assisting clients with the preparation of carve-out financial statements, initial public offerings (IPOs), Master Limited Partnerships (MLPs), debt and equity offerings, SEC financial reporting and preclearance matters, and responding to comment letters.

Joe has served clients in the energy industry for almost 30 years. His clients have included multi-national SEC registrants, independent oil and gas companies, public utilities, midstream companies and development stage enterprises.

During his career, Joe also spent four and a half year in Russia, where he assisted oil and natural gas companies with converting their statutory financial statements to US GAAP and International Accounting Standards in order to aid their access to international financial markets.

Joe is a frequent lecturer on IPOs and SEC financial reporting and disclosure matters. He served as a contributing author and an editor for PwC’s Petroleum Accounting textbook.

Joe is a CPA licensed in Texas, New York and New Jersey. He lives in Kingwood, Texas with his wife and daughter.
