Omid Harraf
Omid Harraf is the Deputy Chief Counsel in the Office of the Chief Accountant. Prior to joining the Office of the Chief Accountant, Mr. Harraf served as Senior Special Counsel for legal policy in the Office of the General Counsel. Mr. Harraf previously worked as a corporate attorney with an international law firm advising on corporate, securities, derivatives and M&A transactions. Prior to graduating from law school, Mr. Harraf worked for the Commodity Futures Trading Commission, the U.S. Department of State, and two multinational organizations. He holds a J.D. from American University, Washington College of Law where he graduated Summa Cum Laude and Order of Coif. He also holds a M.P.P. from American University, and a M.S. in Economics and a B.S. in Physics from the University of Nevada, Reno.
