Natalie M. Perry focuses her practice at Harrison & Held on estate, gift and income tax planning; trust and estate administration; and business succession planning matters. Ms. Perry is also a registered Certified Public Accountant in Illinois and worked as a tax consultant prior to attending law school. With more than 25 years of experience, Ms. Perry works closely with high net worth individuals and their families to help them meet their goals for transferring their wealth. She advises business owners and individual clients regarding asset protection strategies. She also has experience in complex estate and trust administration matters. Ms. Perry represents corporate and individual trustees in litigation and mediation in contested estate involving family-owned businesses. She advises trustees and beneficiaries in trust and probate administration. She is a Fellow in the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC). Her election to ACTEC resulted from and is in recognition of her professional reputation, extensive experience in the field of trusts and estates and continuing contributions to this field through speaking, writing and bar activities. She is a frequent speaker on estate and tax planning matters and has been on the planning committee as well as a member of the faculty for the Illinois Institute for Continuing Legal Education's Estate Planning Short Course for over ten years. In the community, Ms. Perry is a member of the Chicago Estate Planning Council and the Women's Bar Association of Illinois. She serves as a board member for the Hinsdale Hospital Foundation and was Chairman of the Board from 2017 to 2019. Ms. Perry earned her J.D. from DePaul University College of Law. She earned a B.S. in accounting from Indiana University. Ms. Perry is admitted to practice in the State of Illinois and before the U.S. Supreme Court.
