Dr. William "Stewart" Thomas is a Professor of the James A. Thomas School of Business and former Vice Chancellor of Finance and Administration at the University of North Carolina at Pembroke. Dr. Thomas joined UNCP in 2001 following an 18 year career in industry working the majority of that period for Eaton Corporation as Core Business Controller over North American and European operations of the Golf Grip (GolfPride) Division. He is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in the state of North Carolina and holds a PhD in Information Technology Management. His research interests are in business intelligence, managerial accounting, and critical thinking assessment.
