Doug Uhl is a Senior Principal at Chick-fil-A Inc., a private, family owned restaurant business headquartered in Atlanta, GA. In his current role, Doug leads a team responsible for all external financial reporting, technical accounting research, accounting policy and internal controls assurance activities for Chick-fil-A. Prior to joining Chick-fil-A, Doug was a technical accounting and reporting manager for a large, publicly traded gaming and lottery company and also spent time in the audit and accounting advisory services practices for two of the Big Four accounting firms. Doug currently serves on the FASB's Private Company Council as a representative from the private company preparer community, with his initial 3-year term commencing in January 2021. Doug graduated with his undergraduate and graduate degrees in accounting from the University of Georgia and is an active CPA in the State of Georgia. Doug currently resides in the metro-Atlanta area with his wife, daughter, and two pets.
