Brian Matlock is the national commercial services industry leader for BKD LLP and assistant ESG leader.  Brian specializes in energy private equity funds, including upstream oil and natural gas, midstream oil and natural gas, downstream oil and natural gas, power generation and utilities, oilfield services, energy industrial companies, alternative energy, oil and gas participation funds, oil and gas royalty funds, and master limited partnerships funds. Additionally, Brian is very active in the energy industry, serving as the former chairman of the North American Petroleum Accounting Conference, board member of the Institute of Petroleum Accounting, and Brian was selected to the AICPA/PDI Oil and Gas Conference Steering Committee.  Brian is a graduate of Texas Wesleyan University where he received a bachelor's of business administration in Accounting and a master's of business administration in accounting and management information systems.
