HEIDI C. FREEMAN is a member of the Law Offices of Simmons Freeman LLC in Las Vegas, Nevada. Her practice areas include estate, business and asset protection planning with a special emphasis on Dynasty Trusts, Nevada Asset Protection Trusts and Grantor Retained Annuity Trusts. Ms. Freeman is certified as an Estate Planning Law Specialist by the Estate Law Specialist Board, Inc., an organization accredited by the American Bar Association and affiliated with the National Association of Estate Planners & Councils. She has been designated as an Accredited Estate Planner (AEPĀ®) by the National Association of Estate Planners & Councils. Ms. Freeman received a B.A. in Accounting from the University of Oregon in 1999 and earned her J.D. with honors at The University of Texas School of Law in 2003. Ms. Freeman is a member of the State Bar of Nevada and served as an officer for the Southern Nevada Estate Planning Council from 2007-2011. Ms. Freeman presented at the 2017, 2018 and 2019 ENGAGE conferences, and at the 2016 Notre Dame Tax & Estate Planning Institute on "The Perfectly Modern Trust: Flexibility, Creditor Protection, Beneficial Enjoyment, and the Beneficiary's Access to Trust Documents and Trust Financial Statements."
