Yoland Sinclair is a Senior Manager in the National Office Audit & Assurance Services group at Deloitte & Touche where she primarily focuses on auditing digital assets, blockchains and environmental, social and governance related matters. While in National Office she played an instrumental role in building the firm's eminence by working with COSO, AICPA and other Deloitte professionals in the development internal and external non-authoritative guidance surrounding auditing digital assets. She supports the Chair of the AICPA Digital Asset Working Group, which focuses on developing guidance for the profession on digital assets. Yoland often leads the drafting of content and discussions on key technical topics with the working group. Yoland also worked on authoring Blockchain and Internal Controls: The COSO Perspective paper which evaluates the COSO framework in a blockchain environment. Using her knowledge of digital assets, blockchain and the auditing standards, she assists several engagement teams in developing effective risk-based audits of various companies within the digital asset ecosystem. Yoland holds a BBA in Accounting and an MBA Howard University in Washington, D.C. She is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Virginia State Society of CPA's Education Foundation.
