Richard J. Locastro, CPA, JD is a partner with GRF CPAs & Advisors (formerly Gelman, Rosenberg & Freedman CPAs), where he oversees the firm's team of tax professionals who provide consulting and tax compliance services to more than 600 nonprofit organizations annually. He coordinates tax planning and consulting services, including return preparation and representation on IRS audits. He has over 30 years of experience providing tax services to nonprofits.
Mr. Locastro frequently speaks at national, regional and local conferences, including the AICPA Not-for- Profit Industry Conference. He is the immediate past chair of the AICPA Technical Resource Panel for Exempt Organizations, on which he has served as a member since 2012 and the tax lead of the AICPA Not-for-Profit Industry Conference steering committee.
He has a B.S. in Accounting from Le Moyne College and a Juris Doctor from the University of North Carolina School of Law. Richard also serves as the Chair of the Board of Regents for Le Moyne College and is as a member of its Board of Trustees.
