Steve began his career as a Consultant at Deloitte after receiving his BBA in Accounting and BS in Computer Science from Texas A&M University. He is a CPA, licensed in the State of Texas, and a CGMA. After leaving Deloitte, he worked in several industries before finding the dealership world. And, he never left... Steve has spent over 25 years helping small and large dealership groups achieve their financial and operational goals. Steve spent over 20 years as Corporate Controller (a few of those as a General Manager) with Park Place Dealerships, a large, privately-held, luxury dealership group in Texas. While there, he led the creation of their centralized accounting office and implemented processes that help Park Place become the first dealership to win the Malcom Baldrige National Quality Award. After closing the sale of Park Place to Asbury Automotive, Steve became the CFO of Autobahn Imports, a luxury dealership group in Fort Worth. He recently became the CFO of Allegiance Trucks, a very large, rapidly-growing, heavy-duty truck dealership group in the northeast. He is once again leading the charge to create a centralized accounting office for them.
