Ryan graduated from Miami University with a B.A. in History and Political Science. He then received a J.D. from The Marshall Wythe School of Law at the College of William & Mary. He started working for the IRS in 2002 at the Cincinnati Office where he has held several positions including Staff Assistant and Supervisory Tax Law Specialist in the Employee Plans, TE/GE Division. Ryan continues to work at the IRS as a Technical Advisor to the Director of Rulings and Agreements in Employee Plans.
