Experience Jennifer is the Partner-in-Charge of Grant Thornton's National Not-for-Profit and Higher Education Audit Practices. Jennifer has 25 years of experience serving clients in the Higher Education and Not-for-Profit sector and brings a variety of experience and skills to her clients. Her clients have included Savannah College of Art and Design, St. George's University, Barnard College, New York Institute of Technology, Adelphi University, Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory, Ford Foundation, Girl Scouts of the USA, and National Audubon Society to name a few. She is a frequent speaker at external industry events both nationally and locally, as well as at Grant Thornton's Not-for-Profit industry seminars and training sessions. Jennifer also serves as Grant Thornton's East Region leader of our Diversity, Equity & Inclusion initiative. Jennifer is the Chairperson of the AICPA's Not for Profit Expert Panel and has served on a task force responsible for reviewing and writing the AICPA's Not-for-Profit Audit Risk Alert and the AICPA's Not-for-Profit Disclosure Checklist as well as the Not-for-Profit Audit & Accounting Guide. Jennifer also served as a key member of the AICPA's Not-for-Profit Revenue Recognition Taskforce. She was selected by Long Island Business News as a member of their "Top 50 Most Influential Women in Business" class of 2015, their "Top 40 Under 40" class of 2010 as well as "Who's Who in Women in Professional Services" in the 2010 edition. Jennifer was recently named to Crain's New York Business 2020 Notable Women in Accounting.
