Mary Slonina
Mary I. Slonina is a Managing Director in KPMG's Tax Controversy and Dispute Resolution practice within its Washington National Tax office. She provides guidance and assistance to clients with respect to Internal Revenue Service practice and procedure in administrative interactions and controversies before the Service. Ms. Slonina's experience includes time as an attorney in the office of Associate Chief Counsel (Procedure & Administration) of the Internal Revenue Service Ms. Slonina is a member of the Virginia State Bar and the United States Tax Court Bar. She is member of the Tax Section of the American Bar Association, currently serving on the Section's Council of Directors; she previously served as Chair of the Administrative Practice Committee of the Tax Section. Additionally, she is active in the Federal Bar Association Section of Taxation and is a non-CPA member of the American Institute of CPAs. Ms. Slonina is also on the Board of Directors for the Community Tax Law Project, located in Richmond, VA.
