Eileen Brassil, CPA, CFE, is a Partner in the Chicago office of Legacy Professionals LLP. She also serves on the Firm's Management Committee. Eileen specializes in working with Taft-Hartley multiemployer benefit plans and labor organizations. She reviews many jobs for the Firm's three offices. Eileen serves as chair of the Firm's Audit and Accounting (A&A) Services Committee, which is responsible for keeping up on current developments in accounting principles and auditing standards and for developing policies and procedures for the Firm. Eileen served on the AICPA Employee Benefit Plans Expert Panel. As a member of the Panel, Eileen helped monitor employee benefit plan industry developments, trends and opportunities to identify and advise on reporting, attest, and assurance issues unique to employee benefit plans. Prior to serving on the Expert Panel, Eileen served on the Executive Committee of the AICPA Employee Benefit Plan Quality Center. Eileen is a frequent educational speaker and moderator at benefit plan conferences. Eileen also provides education at in-house training sessions and client seminars. Eileen is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants as well as the Illinois CPA Society. She is also a member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners and the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans.
