Ana-Maria is an enthusiastic and passionate financial services leader with broad leadership experience including oversight of all areas related to finance and accounting, operational excellence and internal controls. She has been successful in domestic and international financial services environments, with extensive experience with business transformation, downturn management, strategic planning and process improvements. She began her career as a business analyst at Goldman Sachs before joining KPMG as audit manager in 2005. In 2010, she left KPMG to join Volvo Financial Services and held positions as CFO in Romania and Turkey before moving to Germany in 2013 to take up the position of CFO for DACH markets and subsequently as acting managing director for Germany. In 2022, Ana-Maria relocated to USA in Greensboro North Carolina to take up her current global role of VP Business Risk Assurance & Advisory at Volvo Financial Services HQ. Ana-Maria earned a Bachelor of Science degree in international business with a concentration in accounting from State University of New York at Plattsburgh and she is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants and a Chartered Global Management Accountant. She speaks Romanian, English and French and I am proficient in German and Italian.
