Carissa Spencer is a Special Agent with the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development, (HUD) Office of Inspector General (OIG), currently assigned to the Western Region. SA Spencer recently held the position of Acting Assistant Special Agent in Charge of the Southeastern Region for HUDOIG.  SA Spencer has been given the responsibility to investigate various criminal offenses occurring in the Western Region including but not limited to Bank Fraud, Mortgage Fraud, Grant Fraud, Public Housing Authority Fraud, Money Laundering; Wire Fraud, Mail Fraud, and Section 8 Housing Assistance Fraud. SA Spencer graduated from Weber State University in 2000 with a Bachelor's Degree. SA Spencer graduated from the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center as a Criminal Investigator in 2003 and has been employed with HUDOIG since that time.
