Matthew R. Brady, CPA is a seasoned and successful professional who has served clients on both the public accounting side, and as a corporate controller and CFO. Matt brings over 20 years of experience to his work with clients, and has served as president of BRADYRENNER and as a partner in the company's sister firm, Renner & Company, Inc., since 2009. Matt began his career at a leading regional public accounting firm providing audit and attestation services, as well as business and individual tax services. He subsequently moved to the client side, serving as director of finance for an $11M educational nonprofit, and later as controller and CFO for a $50M building contractor. In these roles, he successfully negotiated capital projects, coordinated major expansion initiatives, upgraded software and technology systems, reduced outstanding accounts receivable, and orchestrated procurement of significant financing packages while increasing gross profit and improving bottom-line results. He partnered with Jim Renner in 2009 to form BRADYRENNER. Today, Matt leads the firm's growth and client services, while working directly with small business owners in a wide range of fields to meet their bookkeeping, accounting, tax planning and consulting needs. Matt's passion for helping small business owners achieve success has enabled BRADYRENNER to achieve consistent year-over-year growth by adding outstanding clients and talented personnel.
