Mike is a partner in BDO's Assurance Quality Management, Inspections, and Independence department. In this role, he is responsible for oversight of quality management functions including leadership of the internal inspection program as well oversight of inspections by external parties including Peer Review. Previously, Mike served as the Regional Technical Partner for the Southeast Region and was responsible for risk management functions as well as consultations on accounting and auditing topics. Mike is active in the AICPA Peer Review Program and currently serves as Chair of the Peer Review Board and the Standards Task Force. He recently completed nine years of service on the AICPA National Peer Review Committee, the most recent five as Chair.
