Travis is a Partner in the CFO Advisory Group for Wiss, a major 100 firm located in Florham Park, NJ. He is experienced with startup to mid-size companies involved in financial services, E-commerce, healthcare, hospitality, and real estate. He currently provides SMB companies with strategic business and financial advice in addition to managing day to day controller/CFO activities. His prior CFO roles include 3 credit unions (including playing an instrumental role in a takeover), where he learned to manage and improve systems, people and processes in a heavily regulated environment. Following the CARES Act since the bill was passed in 2020, Travis is a PPP/ERC expert having appeared on 3 AICPA Town Hall events discussing emerging issues and Wiss' client first approach in dealing with the PPP loan program. Travis is also a frequent contributor to national publications including the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Forbes, Business Insider, and Money magazine. He is responsible for providing traditional CFO services including: Financial Planning and Analysis, fundraising, pre and post M&A activities, strategic planning, budgeting, and risk management.
