Helen Munter is a Co-Founder and CEO of ADIGEO Consulting, LLC, a consulting firm focused on performing expert analysis of SEC and PCAOB inquiries and providing insight on accounting and auditing matters. ADIGEO provides solutions tailored to the individual client circumstance, drawing upon the unique experience of its founders spanning more than half a century in regulatory oversight and as audit partners with signing responsibility. Helen previously served as the Director of Registration and Inspection at the PCAOB, with the responsibility for the oversight of all registered firms in the United States and globally. Helen works directly with public accounting firms of all sizes, including Top 10 national firms, to improve all aspects of the audits of public companies, including risk assessment, evaluation of the design and effectiveness of internal controls, substantive testing, and reporting. She provides meaningful recommendations related to the most judgmental aspects of auditing, including auditing estimates and fair value, management review controls, and critical audit matters. Helen is a globally recognized expert in US GAAP, US GAAS, International Auditing Standards, PCAOB Rules & Regulations, SEC Rules & Regulations, and the Sarbanes Oxley Act - including internal controls over financial reporting. She is a frequent public speaker on matters of importance to the audit, and consistent messenger of the importance of the audit to the capital markets and has developed and delivered numerous training courses to PCAOB registered accounting firms regarding the application of PCAOB standards and independence rules.
