Joe Zamboni is Senior Manager - Accounting and Auditing Tools and Methodology at the AICPA. In that role, he serves as the product owner of the AICPA's cloud-based tools for performing audits of employee benefit plans (OnPoint EBP) and for performing preparation, compilation, and review engagements (OnPoint PCR). As product owner, Joe is responsible for the development, maintenance, and expansion of the applications. Joe is also a member of the core methodology team at the AICPA contributing to the development of the Dynamic Audit Solution (DAS). Prior to joining the AICPA, he was an executive editor for the Tax & Accounting business of Thomson Reuters responsible for the technical content of several accounting and auditing products, including those related to audits of employee benefit plans. Before that time, Joe was the manager of external financial reporting and benefits accounting for Sabre Inc. and was also in public practice with Deloitte & Touche, where he provided audit services to clients in various industries, including employee benefit plans.
