As the National Assurance Leader for Mayer Hoffman McCann P.C. (MHM), Michael has oversight responsibility for MHM's attest methodologies, training and technology. Michael has over 25 years of experience in public accounting working with diversified financial companies and other service-based companies, including banking, broker/dealer, investment companies, and other diversified companies ranging from audits of public entities in the Fortune 100 to small private entities. Michael is also a member of MHM's Executive Committee and Professional Standards Group, providing accounting knowledge and leadership for topics such as derivative financial instruments, investment securities, share-based compensation, fair value, revenue recognition, debt and equity, earnings per share, going concern, goodwill and financial asset impairment. Mike also serves as a technical resource for application of audit methodologies for both private and public entities and has served on several of the AICPA's exam and content committees.
