Matt has 10+ years of Tax and Accounting experience with a blend of Public Accounting and Industry. He has expertise in Corporate tax compliance, consolidated tax returns, ASC 740 and GAAP. He also has an expertise in tax related software such as HTP, TRCS and OneSource Tax Provision as well financial software such as FCCS and HFM. Matt has gained significant knowledge in the transportation, insurance, and banking industries over the years.

Prior to joining Huron, Matt worked with Grant Thornton as a Tax Manager. As a Manager he led large ASC 740 engagements for public and private companies. He also conducted reviews of complex Federal and State income tax returns. He also worked at a large financial institution as a Business Analyst. As a Business Analyst he assisted in the design, development and implementation of Oracle Hyperion Tax Provisioning Software. He performed system functional tests and worked side-by-side with the technology team to resolve bugs and fix design flaws.
