Brad Skinner

Brad Skinner currently serves as the Office Chief in the Office of Energy and Transportation. In this position, he is responsible for directing, supervising and coordinating the work of the staff assigned to the Office. He also participates in developing and implementing changes to SEC rules and regulations and operating policies and procedures within the Division of Corporation Finance. He was part of the team that received the Law and Policy Award for their efforts in the modernization of the Commission's oil and gas disclosure requirements.

Prior to joining the Office of Energy and Transportation, Brad served as the Senior Assistant Chief Accountant in the Office of Natural Resources. He has been a member of the staff since 1998.

Before joining the Securities and Exchange Commission Brad held various positions in public and private accounting offices, including Coopers & Lybrand in Washington, D.C. He graduated summa cum laude from the University of Maryland with a BS in Accounting.
