Ben has worked in the tax credit industry since 2012. He focuses on helping clients with various state and federal credits and incentives including advising clients on attracting New Markets Tax Credit (NMTC) financing to help them fill financing gaps while driving investments in low-income communities throughout the United States. Ben also advises clients on the clean energy tax credit opportunities brought about by the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) with an emphasis on tax-exempt, Tribal, and governmental organizations seeking to utilize the IRA's elective pay provisions. Prior to joining Moss Adams, Ben focused on underwriting, negotiating, structuring, and closing multimillion-dollar NMTC and Historic Tax Credits equity investments, with an emphasis on working capital transactions and projects located on Tribal lands.
