Anton is Chief Executive of Moore Global

He was previously Chief Executive of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland (ICAS) for over ten years, where he led its transformation. For seven of those years he was Chairman of the Global Accounting Alliance (GAA) of the world’s leading institutes, representing over one million accountants.

Before this, Anton was Chief Executive of the Scottish Qualifications Authority. He is a Trustee of the International Valuation Standards Council and Chairman of the Executive Board of the Scottish Catholic Education Service. He is an Honorary Professor of the Universities of Glasgow and Strathclyde. Anton has been a council member of the Confederation of British Industry Scotland (CBI) and Chairman of the Scottish Council of Independent Schools (SCIS).

A graduate of the University of Stirling, Anton’s career began as a teacher of Religious Education.

He is married with four children, three grandsons and two granddaughters.
