Ross is a Senior Manager located in Grant Thornton's Charlotte, North Carolina office. He assists in the technical and administrative aspects of valuation and financial consulting engagements on a local, regional, and national level.

Ross' valuation experience includes business combinations, gift and estate tax valuation, equity valuation, and goodwill impairment tests for the healthcare, energy, technology, telecommunications, and manufacturing industries, among others. Ross also performs valuations of intangible assets to include franchise rights, intellectual property, brand, technology, and customer relationship assets. These valuations represent niche and multi-national corporations across the life cycle from early-stage to mature.

Ross also has experience with valuation engagements involving complex financial instruments. This experience includes developing financial models for the valuation of share-based compensation awards and contingent consideration agreements. These valuation engagements have often required the development of Monte Carlo simulation models using software such as Oracle's Crystal Ball.
