Jeff Brimhall received his accounting degree from Brigham Young University in 2005 and began his career as a public accountant for Grant Thornton and Hein & Associates specializing in Oil and Gas audits. His first job out of public accounting was with Resolute Energy where he worked for 5 years doing SEC reporting and technical accounting. Since then, he has worked in different leadership roles for a number of private equity backed companies. Mostly notably with Raisa Energy where he is currently the EVP of Accounting.

Raisa Energy has a diversified portfolio of non-operated interests in many of the most prolific basins in the US and has closed 4 PDP securitizations which has surpassed $1.0 billion of gross proceeds. Overall, Raisa Energy has securitized ~13,000 wellbores under ~100 operators. Outside of work he is married and is the proud father of 4 children and outside of family and work spends most his time volunteering for his church, riding his bikes and baking sourdough bread.
