Vic Svec is a Managing Director with Alvarez & Marsal's Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Services practice in Chicago. He specializes in ESG analysis and strategy.

Mr.
Svec brings more than three decades of corporate experience in investor
relations, social responsibility/ESG and corporate communications. He
has worked with Fortune 500 companies and global category leaders in the
energy, consumer products and recreation sectors.

Mr. Svec’s
notable engagements include helping to drive tangible ESG improvements
with companies in specialty chemicals, mining, natural resource and
infrastructure; increasing ESG ratings at his prior employer by 60
percent; and enabling his company to earn number-one honors for
small/mid-cap companies in the metals/mining sector from Institutional
Investor Magazine.

Mr. Svec chaired a global industry initiative,
developing the inaugural set of responsible ESG principles for industry
signatories. He directed social responsibility activities that were
recognized with first-in-sector social responsibility honors in
Fortune’s Most Admired Companies ranking and the Platt’s Global Energy
Awards. He has also led investor relations and communications
initiatives in more than 20 successful equity/bond offerings, IPOs,
spinoffs and M&A transactions with a combined value of more than $20
billion. He is a frequent presenter at ESG, investor and industry
events.

Mr. Svec earned bachelors' degrees in mass communications
and government from Southern Illinois University. He has completed
selected coursework in the Jurisprudence Program at St. Louis University
and the MBA Program at Southern Illinois University. Mr. Svec is a
former board member of the St. Louis Science Center, the St. Louis
Regional Chamber and Growth Association and the International School of
Business at St. Louis University.
