Chase Hodges is currently a Practice Fellow at the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB). In this role, Chase contributes toward several projects on the FASB’s technical research agenda for topics related to derivative, hedge, and current expected credit losses (CECL) accounting.

Immediately prior to his role at the FASB, Chase was a Senior Manager in Deloitte’s Greater Washington Audit & Assurance practice, where he split time between the audit and advisory businesses. In this role, he served and advised attest and non-attest clients in navigating a broad range of technical accounting and financial reporting issues.

Chase previously completed a rotation in Deloitte’s National Office – Accounting and Reporting Services group, where he specialized in financial instrument, consolidation, and business combination accounting. Chase began his career in Deloitte’s Atlanta Audit and Assurance practice.
