Daniel Stuhlemmer

Daniel Stuhlemmer joined the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) as a project manager in October 2021. He currently leads the team responsible for conducting the FASB’s projects related to the Current Expected Credit Losses (CECL) standard, including the Post-Implementation Review (PIR) of CECL.

Prior to joining the FASB, Dan spent six years as a senior manager in KPMG’s Audit Practice. In this role, he served audit clients in banking industry and has experience with a broad range of technical accounting matters, including complex transactions, implementing new accounting standards, and capital market transactions. In addition to his client service responsibilities, Dan held various Audit Quality roles at KPMG.

Dan earned his degree in Finance and Economics from Rutgers University in Camden, New Jersey. He is a licensed CPA in the State of Pennsylvania.
