Keri Johnson is a Director in the Accounting & Reporting Advisory practice of the Transaction Advisory group. She has over 17 years of accounting and reporting experience with both public and private companies. She has extensive expertise with SEC reporting, GAAP-compliant financials, acquisitions and divestitures, accounting process improvement, and ERP system implementations. She specializes in oil and gas accounting as well as in many areas of technical accounting.

Keri advises both publicly traded and privately owned companies on financial close checklists, consolidations, purchase price allocation, impairment, divestiture accounting, stock-based compensation, hedge accounting, internal controls, revenue recognition, and account reconciliations, as well as many other areas of accounting and reporting. She works closely with management teams, corporate boards, in-house counsel, and business partners in the context of reporting, analysis, valuations, investments, and accounting policies and procedures.

Prior to joining Stout, Keri was the Chief Accounting Officer at EAG, Incorporated, where she led a team that provided accounting services to oil and gas clients. She has also served at various levels within both upstream and midstream companies, where she led technical accounting initiatives and managed accounting and financial reporting for both onshore and offshore assets.
