Tony Hill
Tony Hill is an Executive Credit Officer within Wholesale Credit Risk at JPMorgan Chase. He is an experienced credit officer and senior leader with 22+ years in the credit markets. He has extensive concentrated buy-side credit experience in the public and private debt capital markets spanning nearly all sectors and debt asset classes (High Grade, High Yield, Leveraged Loans, and Mezzanine). His credit experience covers the U.S., Europe, and emerging markets.
Tony is also a thought leader in Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) assessments and emerging credit market trends globally with extensive credit-related experience ranging from structuring complex transactions to developing risk scorecards and models. He is also very skilled at working with technology teams, synthesizing credit risk with advanced technologies, to deliver pragmatic risk management solutions.
Tony joined JPMorgan Chase in 2021 from Moody's Investors Service where he held several credit roles of increasing responsibility across their industry groups and locations. Before joining Moody's, Tony served as a Managing Partner at a boutique asset management fund in London that specialized in European leveraged finance investments. He previously worked at Wachovia (London), John Hancock/Manulife (Boston and London), Citigroup (London), and was a U.S. Naval Officer (U.S., Europe, and the Middle East) for nearly 8-years.
Tony holds an MBA from London Business School (LBS) and a bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering from Boston University. He is an avid and experienced business traveler (worked in, or visited, 20 countries over the past 30 years). He also enjoys volunteering in his local community, swimming, distance running, and Italian language studies.
