Maria Dolan is currently (Acting) Deputy Director, Pass-Through Exam Strategy & Promoter Program in the Pass-Through Entities Practice Area, Large Business & International Division, Internal Revenue Service. In this role, she ensures alignment of strategic activities before, during, and after examinations of passthrough entities to the IRS mission of serving taxpayers and enforcing tax laws fairly to all. Maria is involved in the IRS Strategic Operating Plan initiative to expand enforcement of large partnerships. She stood up the Large Partnership Compliance (LPC) program and led projects to implement the centralized partnership audit regime referred to as BBA. Maria began her career in public accounting and held leadership positions at multi-state and multi-national organizations prior to joining the Internal Revenue Service in 2005. She holds a Master of Science degree in Taxation from the University of Central Florida, Orlando, and is licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Florida.
