In her role as EY Americas Climate Change and Sustainability Services (CCaSS) Deputy Americas Leader and Global Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Advisory Solution Leader, Chicago-based Jessica Wollmuth has been instrumental in managing and recruiting a rapidly growing team that has expanded from 100 to more than 300 US CCaSS team members in the past 18 months. 

Jessica is responsible for driving business growth and works with a wide spectrum of clients, ranging from start-ups to Fortune 100 companies. She is a dedicated and inspiring leader, guiding cross-functional and cross-cultural teams to develop unique solutions using expertise in decision analytics, group facilitation and technical expertise in environmental and energy management.

Over her nearly 30-year career, she has accrued vast experience across a diverse set of sectors and industries, including apparel, consumer goods, agribusiness, power, mining, chemical, and oil and gas. Her efforts on behalf of many of the world's leading companies has earned her the trust and respect of countless business leaders, helping them to understand the risks and opportunities arising from climate change and sustainability issues and turning those challenges to their advantage.

In the Chicago region, across the nation and throughout the world, Jessica has helped companies transform and innovate their environment, health, safety and sustainability practices, helping them to deliver long-term value through sustainable development. She has been invaluable to her clients helping them to manage risks, capitalize on opportunities and make critical decisions related to resource and environmental management and sustainability.

Since joining EY in 2018, Jessica has focused on assisting clients with sustainability strategy development, materiality assessments, target setting, reporting and climate and supply chain risk analysis, along with development of supporting management systems and implementation programs.

She has been instrumental in growing the EY CCaSS practice, which was recently launched as a separate sub-service line, and her efforts in recruiting and designing on-boarding for new hires have aided the firm in meeting an ever-increasing demand.

Jessica's work has paid dividends, not just in the firm's retention rates or practice growth, but in the success and impact EY has had with its clients as it helps them craft and implement unique environmental, social and governance strategies that drive long-term value for customers, employees, communities and shareholders.

She holds two bachelor's degrees (B.A., Economics and B.S., Engineering and Public Policy) from Washington University in St. Louis and a master's degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
